Golden Goose Lindy Hop Challenge: Video

I uploaded the video and have decided to post it.

I originally didn’t want to post it because of my very obvious screw ups. Also, I wasn’t always consistently on the beat. I have now chosen to call that syncopation. heh

Dancing and dancing in a competition is a lot different. It really isn’t, but in my head it was. No more! I’m done with that. I dance much better when I don’t worry about it.

Julian August 31, 2006 at 6:38 AM Thanks for the video. Imagine if you lived here in Ireland where there’s next to no swing dancing at all. Besides, screwing up is the only way to learn. It’s essential. (That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it). Rumour has it today is blogday, so I’ll put you up as one of my five blogs to check out - so long as you keep swinging.

You’re right, screwing up really is the only way to learn. So very true.

I will keep on swinging! Keep it up in Ireland! At least I know if I ever visit Ireland that I’ll be able to find a few people who lindy hop!
